EPIC

For the first time in my life, I went for a final exam which i didn't have time to finish studying for. And for the first time in my life, i left the exam hall without being confident even for ONE question. Although I know i would be banished to hell this time round, a little point of relief is that everyone was cursing and swearing at this ridiculous paper, but still, I think I would probably be one of the worst kids around.

Anyway, life goes on and I need to catch up on my precious sleep before studying for my last paper. Zzz..

Dear Fall 2009,

I am so glad that you will disappear from my life in two days' time. Thanks for making this semester of mine such an epic failure. You made me realise what a horrendous kid I can be, and much as I do not want to, I know you would strike me off the Dean's List this semester. I bear no high hopes.

Moving on, I know you have gotten your twin to torture me next semester further more, with the dreadest most class with a 20-30 pages report PER WEEK, and of course, endless amount of time-consuming work again.

In conclusion: Academic Year 09-10, you make me feel that my exorbitant school fees are worth paying for, and has certainly brought me to my pinnacle of failure (** NOT success**).

I believe i can flyyyy ;)

woots, just booked three plane tickets, still have at least one more to go. :) So what's up for me this winter?

1. Houston, Texas over Christmas. Let's some sunny weather!
2. St Louis for Urbana Conference- the mega big conference in North America for the entire world! Let's experience it!
3. Miami, Florida- Let's catch more warmth before heading back to freezing cold Illinois. Woo, there's a nude beach?!! o.0 haha, of course it's not for me. ;)
4. Washington DC to visit SY. It's time to warm the heart. eewww, did i just say that? :P
5. Illinois. Home sweet home. And the same old last minute trick- classes would start in abt 15hrs' time. :) Time to study hard after a month of hardcore play. :)

heyoyo!

Hello, I'm back to blogging! Have been either busy or lazy to do it since my summer break!

So, life has not been too unexpected, the same busy life back on campus. A typical boring engineering kid's life. :P While I think I should participate in more clubs and perhaps even find a job, none of these seem to come through. I am actually happy with having some personal time to myself. Be it just lazing around, or watch dramas and stuff. Haha, sometimes I wonder if I am really getting old, somehow my level of energy for other people seems to have diminished. Now, I like to have a simple, less-packed life, leaving some time for me to "nuah". Maybe the past few years have already drained off my energy reserves. :P

Then here comes another viewpoint on "maximizing my college life". Especially given that I am already in the U.S., it would be good to work with both Americans and possibly other international students on various projects and/or activities.

Anyway, i have moved into an apartment with 3 other girls. It has really been a good learning, and tiring, experience. Life is no longer so simple, as you have about 5 different bills to pay, do your own groceries almost weekly, cook and WASH your own dishes, my number 1 hated chore. Almost all the time, I would be the one cooking, and my roommates would wash, but the downside of this is that cooking takes up way too much of my time. So it's either I wash, which takes up less time but i don't like doing, or i cook, something I like, but simply too time-consuming. Furthermore, I realised it's not much cheaper to stay in the apartment afterall, and there is definitely way less social life with other people. Therefore, my verdict: I am going to move back into the dorm next academic year.
