So, i spent more than TWO full nights trying to rectify this error on my Computer Science Machine Problem(MP).
My output: bye. bye.
Reference output: bye bye.
THAT super nice and SMALL FULLSTOP caused me 50% of my points, as the subsequent functions that I wrote were marked as incorrect.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
This thingey is way too picky, and you really need to be a perfectionist to do this thing. one semicolon, one comma, etc.-- you are WRONG.
END OF CS PROBLEM.

Next, i spent more than two hours solving ZERO mechanics problems. :(
I'm quite sure at this rate, i'm so going to fail all my exams..
One week is all i'm left to master all these computer language, mechanics thingey, statistics thingey, two presentations, etcetc.
I MUST DO IT! One A at least.
1. Strictly no more play time.
2. Only leisure activity allowed is exercise.
3. No more talking crap with friends.
4. Needs to be absolutely focussed.
5. Library to be my second home.

Graduate Studies...
Plan A: Do a direct Masters program in Industrial Engineering in either 3.5 or 4 years.
What this means:
- Free education for my 3rd and 4th year here.
- Be a teaching assistant and get paid as well.
- Not studying for the Masters I want, though IE is still fine.
- More time to explore more of this school's resources- there's a ton of them!
- Financial status: Most likely a surplus for the last 2 years.
Plan B: Do Masters in the field I want, in an Ivy League school.
What this means:
- Still get Masters within 4 years.
- Experience a new culture in a new environment.
- Get to study what I want, i.e. Engineering Management. Something along that line.
- A qualification of higher recognition. This is important as firms would look at your Masters and not really your undergrad qualification. This Masters follows your FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
- Financial status: Definitely a deficit.
Possible solution 1: Get a postgraduate scholarship and serve my bond thereafter.
Implication: Delayed entry into RR, possibly giving up the chance of going overseas for 2years training.
Possible solution 2: Hopefully can get a bondless scholarhip. Really tough one.
Plan C: This is not within my control. I will only know when I'm back in Singapore next this summer. Shall reveal it only when it can be done.
Plan D: I really hope I won't be in this situation. So not worth mentioning.
Looks like the problems I have faced last year will continue to haunt me until I finish my mugging life. I'm thrown back the same issues, same thinking process, same decisions to make, etc. How I hope it'll come to an end now. I'm confused, again. I fear for the decisions I make as the implications do not affect me only. It affects my family. Half a year is what I have left. I need to decide. I need tonnes of advice. Anyone?

Confession.. :P
I love my university. It's University of Illinois, Urbana-CHampaign.
I love my college. It's College of ENgineering.
I love my department. It's Industrial Enterprise Systems of Engineering.
I love my major. It's Industrial ENgineering.
I love my classes and of course, professors and teaching assistants. =)
So, i'm happy although life can be busy and stressful. :)
And i think i'm in love with all HongKongers, which HK dramas would probably be the main attributing factor. wahaha!! But seriously, they are awesome people! :)
And godfather is soo cute(haha, maybe he's too old for that) that i love him too!
haha, ok, end of confession session(as of now). :P

:( I really don't like u! :(
I'm really sad today. My "dear" Samsung phone alarm clock didn't ring today and it caused me to miss my 9am service!!! It's not the first it sabotaged me by not ringing. It's so unpredictable and I feel very insecure with it every morning. I really miss my Sony Ericcson phone. I love it to bits. But there's nothing I can do but use Samsung now. It's really a pain to use. It doesn't vibrate when it's in silent mode, doesn't ring when it should, screw up my contact list, etc. I, CLARISSA WONG, WILL NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PHONE EVER. Maybe that's why my bro decided to get a new phone. Coz this is totally crappy. Good choice! I'm so gonna get a new one when I'm back. Opps, ok, think i'm being quite insensitive here. Sorry to all my fellow Samsung users. Think it's just my phone, so please do not be offended.
I'm so sad that I missed the service that playing with kids didn't seem to be so enjoyable today. :( Sorry, kiddos.
Resolution: I'm going to get an alarm clock TODAY.

Priorties...
Recently, I don't know why, but I feel like writing out my thoughts here. Afterall, it's my personal space, my blog. Several issues are going through my mind, yes again, and I took some time off to think about them.
One of the issues I faced was trying to juggle between my different groups of friends. It was sparked off by a small incident, which my friends were obviously joking, but nonetheless, it got me thinking. On Tuesday, I was meeting my cell group leader for lunch, and it so happened that my group of Singapore friends were having lunch at the same place. While my friend and I were looking for a place to sit, my other friends waved for us to go over. But I know my friend and I would want to have personal time together. So I chose not to sit with them, and found another spot instead. And subsequently, they were jokingly teasing me about how i abandoned them, choosing my friend over them, etc.
I truly didn't take it to heart as I know they were just playing, but I can't help but think about who I'm spending my time with. Basically, there are three groups of friends: Singaporeans, Christian friends and international friends whom I study with most of the time. This semester, I was away from Sinagporeans most of the time as they don't take the same classes with me for most, and so I hang out more with my international friends. Also, I got to know more people from a Christian Fellowship and they are so awesome that I do want to spend more time with them as well. So I kind of neglected the Singaporeans, especially the first two months of the semester.
So, is it even a problem, or something to think about? I don't know. I certainly do not want to shortchange any of my friends by not spending time with them, but there is a limit to how much time one has. If I can't juggle well now, it'll be worst next semester, as I got into the EXCO of a student organization. This means life will be busier. And when life is packed with deadlines and work, time spent with friends would most probably the first to go. The Clarissa Wong we know is a very goal- and task-oriented person. Something has to be leant..

Good Friday! :)
I've had one of the most awesome Good Friday services in my life. :) My church was able to be creative, and yet kept it as a solemn and reflective service. I love the unexpected ending, an ending which we did not know if it's an end. I love the songs, the worship, the style of the service. I love the absolute silence( as requested by the pastor at the start) when the service ended, and people started to leave. It's an awesome absolute silence. I love it. It gives us time to emo, reflect and feel. Had it not been so cold, I would have taken a really slow walk back to my dorm, or even better, lie on a bench in the park, gaze at the moon and stars, and do some reflection.
I love tonight. :)
I love tonight. :)
Sleep????
Time check: 2.42am
Will I get to sleep tonight? Hmm..
Tmr's a super long day, 9am to 9pm(at least), with no lunch break, and hopefully with dinner break though.
I'll be pronounced dead at 0000hrs, 10April 2009, only to be revived again at 8am(hopefully later) on the same day.
No time to run and swim for the past few weeks! :( Hopefully next friday.

Happy!!! =)
Haha, I'm happy! Coz more and more of my friends are getting ATTACHED!! :) Good for all of you! I'm so happy for all of you! :)
oh wait, there's one BIG request from me to those in sg. Pls don't pangseh me/ don't go out with me just because you want to be with your significant half all day long!! Leave some time for me, or I'll not be happy for you anymore. Bleh.. haha!! Just joking..
Stay happy, people, despite the hard times! :)

Spring has come!
Why are so many people emo-ing? Stop emo-ing people, and that includes me, coz spring has come! Pretty pink flowers are blossoming and it's getting alot warmer. So everybody has to STOP emo-ing NOW! :)
I'm blogging this in reflection of an emoish email I've just received. A person whom I think is the most remarkable I've met is emo-ing too. I could sense it- the philosophical thinking process about life and its meaning; the economic recession, etc. The email actually made me appreciate and respect my friend alot more, and I suppose everyone has this thoughful side which may/may not be known to others.
So, life has been really busy and stressful, but I enjoy it still. Coz I get to learn a ton of new things and my lecturers are way too awesome as well! :)
I miss seeing commercial and fighter planes and helicopters... THough I saw two helicopters last week. :(
