Lazy Clarissa..

Frankly, I've been really busy and lazy these few days. Yes, if you've realized I either take a good 24hrs and/or didn't even reply to your sms/face book messages/ offline messages.

First of all, I would really like to thank all of you who have blessed me with birthday messages in any form. I wanted to have a customized reply for each individual, but I did not manage to do so for everyone by the end of the day as I have to attend meetings and a dinner at night. And I literally was knocked out unknowingly while charging my phone, however ridiculous it might sound.

I was really shocked when I looked through my calendar earlier. It made me feel that my stay here is short, despite the fact that it seems to be a long three months. As of now, all my weekends are packed, all the way to the day I'm leaving for the States, with the exception of the second week of July. My first reaction was like "What??!!! That's it for my summer break?!!"

Sometimes, I do feel like going back to the US to experience the slower pace of life. Over here, things are happening way too fast that I need a breather. This by no means mean that I am not enjoying my life here. In fact, it is exactly the opposite. I am loving every second and minute of my life in Singapore thus far. In the office, I am learning new things, doing things I love. Out of office, I am spending time with family and friends. Life is really awesome! But I guess it is just normal to want to laze in the house, doing nothing. So far, I have about one/two nights to myself, which is my precious nuah-ing time. :)

Since the day I am back, I have been spending the bulk of time my talking. Haha, in case you do not know, talking is my favourite activity, and I can go on like a machine gun, forgetting totally all about time once I start talking. And one very important lesson I need to learn is the skill to check the time and stop talking when it is time to go. I really have to apologize for being late at times because I overshot the time. I have the habit of "throwing away my handphone and watch" once I start talking, so please remind me at times.

Super Awesome Days! =)

Really, these few days were really a blast of my life! It's ssoo AWESOME!! I am enjoying myself thoroughly, and these days were so perfectly enjoyable that there is nothing more to ask for. THanks a million, to those who have spent time with me since I came back, and to those whom I have yet to meet too, coz I believe it'll be just as enjoyable! =)

Wed
Went with a friend to walk the Southern Ridges, and yummy hawker food! Also, fantastic movie, Angels and Demons!

(Please enlighten me on this building. I have no idea what it is.)

Thurs
Haha, the day that I'm acting like a super noob tourist. I used the ancient big piece of Singapore map to navigate my way from Dhoby Ghaut MRT to someplace in Clarke Quay, and finally to Marina Square! Totally loved that mini adventure of mine!

Met up with two lovely friends and went shopping! Bought a blazer and a blouse. haha, yeah, ready for work and future seminars, career fairs, etc. Finally own my own blazer! Proudest buy of the day, kudos to my friends! :)

(haha, totally amused by these courtesy cuties!)

(My work place starting next week!)

(Grand Supreme Court!)

(Part of the city)

Fri
Went to visit a bunch of friends, and had lunch with them. And I'm pampered like a princess! Can't help but think that I'm the most blessed person on earth! Had fun listening to stories and watch some totally hilarious videos! Subsequently, went to see the new shopping mall in Bugis, walked from there to Clark Quay. Though I missed last year's F1, I'm thankful to have my friend to walk parts of the track with me and explained the situation to me. We were fortunate enough to witness both bungee jump and extreme swing, which are thrill rides along Singapore River. It was an interesting night, walking through places which I have not been before in the city. :)

Sat
HOHOHO, this is seriously exciting! Guess what? I went to Little India!! wahaha!! Went down to understand and see the deployment of manpower with bosses. hee, got to see the places where transsexuals live and work, which are surprisingly, tourists' attraction! And certainly more stuff to see! Following on, I tagged along to other assignment places too! Certainly an eye-opener!

After which, had bbq with church peeps, which of course, is another round of a blast! Had a great time catching with all of them! :)

How am i suppose to feel?

Since the day I arrived in Singapore, I seem to be receiving unpleasant news for most part of it. I'm not angry or whatsoever, just a little irritated. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel, what I'm supposed to say and/or do. I can only think of nodding my head in disapproval, or how about shaking my head in approval?

Anyway, I must still say that these news didn't destroy my mood totally. I have to say the past few days were really fruitful, meeting up with friends and strolling down different places in Singapore.

I can't wait for my internship to start! I can't wait to learn new things, be busy with work, meet new people, etc.

why buying shoes can be a chore..

In 9 out of 10 cases, I can't buy my ideal shoe because of my feet size. They are just too BIG for women's size!

In Singapore, the stores don't have my size.
And so, I thought my problem would be solved when I am in the US. But I'm WRONG!
In the US, yes they have my sizes, and even bigger ones. BUT my size is kind of the common size, and so sizes run out easily!

So, where should i buy my shoes??!!
